Shooting In Central Maine Leaves 4 Dead

OAKLAND, Maine (AP) Authorities say four people are dead including the gunman who opened fire at a home in central Maine.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says the shooting erupted Wednesday night in Oakland.

He says two women and a man were shot to death inside the home, where they lived with the gunman.

The shooter killed himself outside and his body was found in the driveway.

McCausland says a 4-year-old girl was found unharmed inside the house.

He identified the three victims as Amanda Bragg, 30; Michael Muzerolle, 29; and Amy Derosby, 28. The gunman was identified as Herman Derico, 42.

Investigators are still trying to determine a motive.
